A Valentine’s Day way to show some love for our planet.
Threaded: Make & Care is a relaxed, drop-in daytime event focused on loving our planet through simple, practical actions, reusing what we already have, reducing waste, and spending time making and fixing together.
Held on Valentine’s Day, the focus is on care rather than consumption: caring for our clothes, our creativity, and the world around us.
What’s happening:
- Clothes swap – a chance to refresh your wardrobe without buying new
- Creative making tables – including sewing skills, mending, felting, zine-making, and other hands-on activities
- Space to sit, chat, watch, or take breaks.
How does the clothes swap work: drop off up to 10 items of clean clothing, shoes and accessories off between 10-12 pm. The clothes swap will then open at 12pm Midday and stay open for the rest of the afternoon.
You’re welcome to come for an hour or stay for the day, whatever works for you.
