Join us for a fun filled Summer Spooktacular! Spooks, ghouls and misfits everywhere as you step inside this immersive illustration exhibition from children’s book author and illustrator Nick Moffatt.
Nick Moffatt is a British illustrator and storyteller who has illustrated dozens of middle grade chapter books and has worked on some of the UK’s best-selling children’s comics including The Beano, The Phoenix, The Dandy, Thunderbirds and Moshi Monsters.
Nick’s love of storytelling and bold, character-filled compositions has made his work a hit with children and adults alike and 2026 saw the release of his graphic novel adaptation of one of his favourite literary character’s most famous adventures ‘The Hound of the Baskervilles’.

About the Creatives in Residence Showcase
Over the past year, Lincoln’s Creative in Residence have been exploring new ideas, testing ambitious concepts and developing their practice.
This season brings together the outcomes of that work in a cohesive programme of five events, each offering a distinctive artistic voice while collectively celebrating each creative individually.
Developed between July 2025 and summer 2026, this season will mark the culmination of a year-long period of research, experimentation and making, inviting audiences to discover the artists and ideas shaping some of Lincoln’s creative community.
