This hands-on session focuses on goal-setting and next steps in your creative practice. We will investigate how to embed your values into your planning process and prioritise the tasks most important to you.
A friendly, supportive session to give clarity on your objectives and how to achieve them. Participants will work individually and in small groups to develop a plan of action for the year ahead. Suitable for creatives at any stage of career. Please bring a notebook and pen.
About Hayley Banks:
Hayley Banks manages the portfolio of designer makers in Design-Nation’s membership. In her role since 2003, Hayley has developed and delivered bespoke activities including CPD programmes, exhibitions, R&D opportunities, cultural exchange and collaborative projects.
Hayley has a FdA Cultural Events Management qualification following previous studies at degree and HND level in 3D Design and Fashion Marketing and experience as a freelance designer. A certified coach and mentor, Hayley specialises in building confidence and instilling resilience in creative practitioners.
Design Nation x Barbican Creative Hub
From April to July 2026, Design-Nation and the Barbican Creative Hub present an exciting new creative development programme for designers, makers and creative professionals.
Through a mix of online and in-person talks and collaborative meet-ups, participants will build professional skills, gain practical business tools, and grow meaningful connections across a vibrant creative community.
