Join Lincoln-based Artist, Designer and Muralist Emma Chippendale this summer for two creative workshops.
Children will explore making their own individual artworks, as well as contributing to a larger piece created together.
Designed especially for ages 5–10, these sessions are engaging, welcoming, and full of creativity. Emma has years of experience working with young people and holds an enhanced DBS certificate, so you can feel confident your child is in safe hands.
What to Expect
Nature-inspired shapes, bold and vibrant colours, hands-on creativity, and plenty of laughter in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere.

All materials are provided.
Things to Know
Please wear clothes you don’t mind getting messy (old t-shirts, shorts, tracksuit bottoms, trainers).
Most paints are water-based, but some materials may not wash out. Please dress accordingly, as Emma cannot take responsibility for stained clothing.
Disposable aprons will be provided, although they may not fully prevent mess, and often get in the way
Children under 8 will need a parent or guardian to assist them during the session.
A Little Bit About Emma Chippendale
Emma is a Lincoln-based Multidisciplinary Artist, Designer, and Muralist, currently artist-in-residence at the Barbican Creative Hub.
Inspired by nature and driven by a passion for expressive, organic forms, her work spans large-scale installations, bespoke murals, and immersive interior commissions.
Her practice focuses on creating meaningful connections between people, place, and the natural world.
Emma has extensive experience working with children and adults of all ages and abilities, facilitating collaborative artworks through workshops and co-design sessions.
Participants are encouraged to share ideas and contribute creatively, ensuring each final piece reflects the voices of the community. Whether working on private commissions or public projects, Emma is passionate about creating artwork that brings pride and joy to its surroundings.
Tickets are £9.50, 1 adult is included in every ticket.
Please note: We encourage adults to get stuck in! They will be required to stay in the space at all times.
