Zest is an artist-led theatre organisation creating youth-led theatre, youth spaces and public art that make space for young people to be heard. Based in Lincoln and working nationally, our work is shaped by listening to young people as collaborators and leaders, creating accessible, public-facing cultural experiences.
The Participation Coordinator will organise, manage, facilitate, and curate a wide range of Zest’s participatory work. Working closely with the Artistic Director & CEO and the wider Zest team, they will collaborate across theatre, youth spaces, and public art to engage children and young people in ambitious, high-quality creative experiences locally and nationally.
The role is central to the delivery of Zest’s programme, with a particular focus on leading the coordination and day-to-day running of The Zone — our touring youth space — while supporting the development of new and emerging projects as the organisation continues to grow.
When not delivering projects in communities across the country, you’d work in person from Zest’s offices in central Lincoln at least 2 days per week. We support flexible and remote working where appropriate, balancing this with the collaborative and place-based nature of our work. We, therefore, encourage candidates from across the UK to apply.
The Participation Coordinator will be ideas-driven and excited to use their experience and knowledge to push boundaries and help Zest discover new ways to connect with young people.
