So Festival is excited to announce that applications are now open for the Outdoor Arts Development Scheme, now entering its second year.
Launched last year as part of the Start and Sustain Programme, this year‑long scheme is designed to support artists living and/or working in Lincolnshire who want to develop their craft and explore ideas made for outdoor public spaces, whether that’s a street, beach, town square, field or housing estate.
Over the year, participating artists will receive a tailored package of support which may include training opportunities, national go‑sees, mentorship and dedicated idea development. We are proud to champion local creatives and help connect their work with the communities and places we serve along the Lincolnshire coast.
We had an outstanding response in the launch year and are currently supporting three Lincolnshire-based artists as they grow their skills, confidence and creative practice. Now, we’re ready to welcome the next group of emerging outdoor artists.
If you are in the first five years of your creative career, we would love to hear from you.
Applications open on 13 March 2026 and close on 3 April 2026.
Interviews will be held online on 14 and 15 April, with the scheme beginning in early May 2026.
